"Mental Health is an exercise for your thoughts and emotions. Let’s take the first step together."
Welcome!
My name is Donna Kemp. As a therapist, I strive to bring a blend of experience, education, concern, and energy to the counseling process. My approach is client-centered and individualized, filled with empathy and compassion. I do not judge or criticize, as I myself, am imperfectly perfect, just the way God made us. I do tend to be realistic, honest, and direct, with my clients to help them work towards and achieve goals. With that, I love my clients to feel that the space we work in together is one that is welcoming, warm, and full of respect. I work from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach but also utilize Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I like to focus on the client's strengths and help build upon those to deal with issues or concerns that one may be working through.
On more of a personal note, I come from a military background and was raised in South Carolina. Outside of work, when I am not spending time with those I love, I enjoy things such as sitting alongside any body of water, eating seafood, working out, cooking, and listening to a variety of music. I also enjoy my own forms of relaxation through stretching, meditation, yoga, and reading good books. From time to time, I serve as a mentor and volunteer with youth in my community, as well.
As for my credentials, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Board Certified Counselor. Working with children, adults, couples, and families for more than 13 years, I have a variety of experiences with mental and behavioral health, as well as substance abuse. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Charleston Southern University and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Georgia Southern University. Having worked as both a therapist and served as a Clinical Director, I have provided counseling and treatment on both an outpatient and inpatient level. I hold an active and current membership with the Licensed Professional Counselor’s Association of Georgia.
I look forward to working with you, helping you achieve your goals, encouraging you, and watching you grow and progress along the way.

Hello!
My name is Tywana Dulan. Some people call me Ty, which is a nickname of mine. I don’t mind if my clients use my nickname as well. I have spent several years in the corporate world, public service, and the mental health field, and each position has enabled me to adapt to change quickly and to work well under pressure. I have developed a tenacity towards growing and further developing in my purpose of helping others that I feel truly translates in the therapy room with my clients.
I have extensive experience working with individuals, couples, families, and children, who want to experience the happiness that is much deserved in their life, along with working through a variety of mental health diagnoses, trauma, life changes, and difficult circumstances. My services provide a relaxed and non-judgmental space to enable introspection, growth, and healing.
I am here to assist you on your journey of self-discovery and to be the support you need throughout the therapeutic process. My approach to therapy allows for clarity to occur as it pertains to your current problems while working in collaboration with you as the expert of your own life. I approach therapy from a solution-focused therapy stance while also using a combination of narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and collaborative therapy.
A few things about me, I am a foodie and love to cook, traveling and experiencing different cultures is a joy for me. I am a huge lover of music where in my car, there is diverse rotation. And, yep, you called it...I am one of those people that will dance in my car at the stoplight because why not when the music is that good. I am into sports and a movie fanatic who loves anything from a great psychological thriller, a good Marvel to other action films and comedies. I love to smile and laugh; life is already enough to navigate so why not laugh/smile more and enjoy the little things.

Hi there, and welcome!
My name is La Tonya Dunn Davis. It is a pleasure to have you stop through to learn a little bit about me. One of my greatest joys as a therapist is to walk alongside you; without judgment, illuminating some things, compassionately challenging other things, and smiling in awe of you when you experience new awareness about the things that have kept you stuck. I believe that you already have what you need to lead the kind of life you desire, but have perhaps forgotten, or not yet learned how to gain access to your inner wisdom, resources, and abilities. I certainly do not have all the answers. My job, as I see it, is to partner with you to facilitate your internal work so that you can discover and uncover the answers within.
I got my start in the human services field just over 20 years ago providing direct care services to youth and families. I took a detour for the scenic route to explore other skill sets, returning eventually to complete graduate training and obtain licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have over a decade of experience working in a variety of settings with individuals, couples, and families treating a wide array of presenting mental, emotional, behavioral, and relational concerns. I currently work with adults, ages 18+, and I feel most helpful to clients grappling with adjustment issues, life transition difficulties, work-related stress, communication in relationship challenges, childhood trauma histories, self-worth issues, anger, depression, and anxiety. I often use my therapeutic imagination to weave together various helpful elements of different relational models of therapy which could include Internal Family Systems, Brief Relational, Narrative, Solution-Focused, Emotional Focused, Collaborative, and Spiritually integrated therapies.
Outside of work, I appreciate a nice walk, preferably along a nature trail. Being near woods and water is life-giving for me. Also, I am obsessed with the classics, and feel-good TV shows from my childhood and before. These are one of the ways I like to decompress. The same is true for music. I love to listen to those “oldies, but goldies” soulful classics and I enjoy several other genres depending upon my mood. I also love to compose certain creative, sentimental kinds of writing. I am a homebody at heart who enjoys spending time with my family and loved ones and I feel especially blessed to be married to my amazing husband who constantly works to create an environment in which I am cherished and nourished. All in all, I am a simple country girl who deeply appreciates the simple things in life and maybe much like you, doing my best day after day to be better, to learn, to grow, and to find my particular balance.
The decision to reach out and talk with someone about personal aspects of your life is a significant one. The vulnerability required to take a step into, perhaps, an unfamiliar process is not lost on me. I honor the privilege I have to work in some of the most sensitive places of clients’ lives and I admire their courage to stand up to the difficulties that have infiltrated their lives, disrupted their important relationships, assaulted their sense of self-worth, and diminished their quality of life. This is why you will find that regardless of the theories or therapy models I introduce in our work together, central to my approach is a non-pathologizing, affirming, empathetic, and compassionate posture. It is my goal for each session to create a safe space for you to do the work you need to do to live into the best version of yourself.
So, what do you say? Are you ready to take a step? Click the button below to schedule a free 15-minute consultation with me to see if we’d be a good fit. I'd love to see if and how I might be of service. Be encouraged!

Hello!
I am Cetara. I most enjoy working with men and women who have gone through various forms of trauma, and helping them get to a point where they can begin to fully enjoy their lives again. It takes a brave individual to be willing to look at and sort through their own stuff. Many times, past traumas have weaved their way into our lives and are operating in our current circumstances. Trauma impacts the way we react, our willingness to be vulnerable, our communication, expectations, physical health, and most of all how we perceive ourselves.
I am very interested in patterns of trauma that are passed from one generation to the next. I actually became a counselor because I recognized the negative impact of trauma in my own family, and wanted to dedicate my efforts to help others break these cycles. I am a firm believer that the healing of one individual can set up avenues of freedom for an entire family.
I assure you that whatever you are facing I am confident we will be able to work through it together to get you to a better place. I know counseling is very personal, and I want you to feel empowered in your decision to make the right choice for yourself. We are a team, and I want to work with you to find ways to improve your symptoms, and help you make progress towards your goals. I use a combination of multiple modalities. These approaches are tailored based on your needs, and tend to include: Client-Centered, CBT, Interpersonal, DBT, Insight-Oriented, Trauma Focused, and Narrative Therapy, among others.
I have a background in community mental health, and have experience working with individuals who have severe persistent mental illness such as Bipolar Disorder, and Schizophrenia, along with individuals who have experienced severe trauma such as sexual abuse, partner violence, victims of gun violence, and those experiencing grief. In addition to this I have also worked with individuals who have co-occuring disorders, physical health issues, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, low self-worth, relationship issues, and women's issues.
If you are ready to do the work. I am ready to help you heal. I look forward to meeting you, and being a part of your journey.
A little about me, I received my Master's of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Mercer University. In my free time I enjoy cooking, painting, writing, listening to audio books, spending time with loved ones, shopping at Ross, and laughing at my own jokes.

Hello and Welcome,
My name is Alexis Thomas, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. I specialize in working with children, teens, adults, and families. I am very passionate about the work that I do because I believe that we all could benefit from having a safe, nurturing, and unbiased space to work through the things that weigh on us emotionally and mentally every day. I want to help people become the best version of themselves and feel emotionally and mentally lighter while doing so.
Growing up, I have always been a natural therapist to those around me. People have always felt comfortable asking me for advice and confiding in me and I’ve always enjoyed providing that space for people and being able to help others in their time of need. My interest in therapy began when I took my first psychology class in high school. Ironically, that class period was always the one where my friends and I would confide in each other about all the things happening in our lives. I know what it feels like to have feelings that you don’t know what to do with, be in situations that you don’t understand and not know how to change things for yourself. It may seem easier not to acknowledge the things that may be contributing to how you feel internally but you’ll feel so much better once you do.
Asking for help is not always easy but you have come to the right place. It would be my pleasure to walk alongside you through this journey of self-discovery and growth. We will work to conquer things such as childhood trauma, anger, depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem issues, grief, relationship issues, communication issues, low motivation, life transition issues, etc. If you are ready to take the first step to change, I am here for you!

Greetings!
My name is Shana Trimble, a licensed marriage and family therapist, an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, and the owner of N'Perfect Balance. I currently provide services that assist individuals 13years+, couples, families, and groups suffering from an array of mental and emotional concerns. I also provide supervision to pre-licensed and licensed clinicians in need of AAMFT supervision services. I have my master's in marriage and family therapy/counseling and am a certified life coach with experience working with a very diverse population. I work from a holistic systemic view, we impact life as life impacts us, integrative approach that is inclusive of Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Collaborative Family Therapy. I am also big on Psychoeducation. My main focus is on relationships, as I love helping people better their relationships with themselves, others, and things that can sometimes present some difficult challenges. And for this reason, I love being a therapist.
Actually for as long as I can remember I wanted to help others. If superpowers were a thing, I would love to make the issues people suffer with disappear. But since this is not an option, being a therapist for me is the next best thing. It gives me the ability to help others along their journey. And seeing others thrive is one of my happy places.
I have other happy places as well. I am married to a wonderful man, 30+years, a mother of three adult daughters and an adorable grandson. I love music from most genres, dancing, swimming, and being creative. I also crave information, change, and growth.
I share all of this to say, I am a therapist, yes and I love what I do, but I am also human. And I use being human to connect with my clients. My priority is to create a genuine, honest connection with my clients with no judgments, as I understand that it takes a lot of courage to ask for help. So with me, you will find that I am rooting for every one of my clients as well as others who are working hard to become the best version of themselves, simply because, I want everyone to win.
As a Supervisor, I love helping others in the profession who are just as passionate about helping others. I decided to become an AAMFT Supervisor after establishing my practice because I vividly recall how difficult my experience was during my internship, residency, and after graduation. Because of this experience, I strive to make this experience for someone else a little easier.
To achieve this goal, I will collaborate with you to ensure that you receive all that you need from the clinical as well as from the clinician's perspective. I take pride in understanding that behind the therapist title, you are a human first, and it is this human that will connect with your clients, providing them with the support they need. Therefore, I assure you, you will not be left out as we dive into the practice of the profession.
So, Clients or Supervisee's if you feel I will be a good fit, click the button below to request a session or a free consultation.
Hope to see you soon!
