The LoveSeat

Welcome to The Loveseat, live interactive virtual and in-person workshops that cover some of our hardest topics around our mental health, emotional wellness, relationship topics, and much more. These workshops are designed to provide you with education and tools specific to the targeted subject. In addition, we are here to create a supportive atmosphere that allows you to learn from and connect with others that are experiencing similar issues. Here at N'Perfect Balance, we understand that not all issues require multiple therapy sessions in our office, but that a little help from time to time can go a long way. So grab a topic, have a seat, and feel the love.

The Human vs The Mental Health Diagnosis

 How often have we heard—or said—“They’re just bipolar” or “They’re mental,” when someone expresses emotions differently than we expect? In a world quick to label, we can lose sight of the person behind the behavior. Emotional highs and lows don’t always equal mental illness, and even when someone has a diagnosis, they are more than that label.


This workshop invites us to pause, reflect, and connect with the human behind the diagnosis. We’ll explore how to challenge stigma, shift our language, and engage with empathy and understanding—because everyone deserves to be seen as more than a condition. Join us in learning how to hold space for both the person and their experience.

Don't Accept the Fight Invitation

Helping people retain emotional control despite others

Misery loves company—but it’s not always the healthy kind. Why do we invite others into our negative emotional space? And why are we so quick to accept invitations into theirs? This workshop explores the hidden dynamics behind emotional reactions, shared pain, and conflict cycles.


Together, we’ll unpack what drives us to pull others into our struggles—even when they’re unrelated—and how to recognize when emotional engagement is healthy versus harmful. Learn how to stay grounded, set boundaries, and resist the urge to get pulled into unnecessary conflict. Let’s talk about the emotional invitations we send or accept that keep us stuck—and how to break the cycle for the sake of our relationships and mental well-being.

Emotional Abuse - What does it look like?

This is such a touchy topic. Mainly because when someone is experiencing emotional abuse it is not always visible by sight. There are so many ways a person can experience emotional abuse. In our time together on this topic we will discuss ways on how to detect if you are in an emotionally abusive relationship and what to do next.  And please make note that intimate relationships are not the only kind of relationships that suffer from emotional abuse. Don't miss it!

 Are you feeling overwhelmed trying to make your relationship a perfect 50/50? It’s time to let that go. The truth is—no relationship is ever perfectly equal, and that’s okay. Somewhere along the way, we were sold the idea that fairness means sameness, but that belief can set us up for disappointment and frustration. This workshop will help you rethink balance in relationships by focusing on what actually works for you and your partner. Because great relationships aren’t found—they’re built. Let us help you develop the skills to create the relationship that works for you.

Racism & Mental health

As a people, racism has been a topic that has haunted us for generations. It has not only survived time, it pierces and taunts worlds causing wars both internally and externally. So, how do we battle racism and maintain our mental health around the subject? Let's chat about the mental highs and lows experienced because of racism and learn how to cope. 

After The Affair

 Infidelity can devastate a relationship, leaving behind confusion, anger, shame, and grief. After the Affair is a therapeutic workshop designed to support couples and individuals in navigating the emotional aftermath of betrayal. This session will explore the phases of recovery and provide tools for communication, emotional regulation, and boundary setting. Participants will learn how to rebuild trust, process the emotional impact, and determine a path forward; whether that means reconciliation or respectful separation. This workshop offers a safe space for healing, reflection, and growth
